After a highly successful US leg, the wait is over at last for fans of alt-pop megagroup Weezer as they return to the land down under for their first Australian tour since 1996.
The outfit behind the international hits “Buddy Holly”, “Island in the Sun” and “Pork and Beans” will be rocking out the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in January in what is sure to be a show worth the 16-year wait for fans of their unique sound and style. Never afraid to play their less-known tracks alongside all the hits and favourites and with support from Cloud Control and Brisbane’s very own Ball Park Music, this is a rare not-to-be-missed opportunity for fans of one of modern music’s quirkiest but most loved bands.

The best neighbourhood bar is not always that bar where everyone knows your name. These are the bars that you don’t have to pretend to be bourgeoisie. Bar that you can drink a decent amount of alcohol during the afternoon or an evening more than once a week. Where the bartender, after three drinks, ignores accepted measurements and shares an occasional drinker a respectable ‘on the house’ and the stuff didn’t raise an eyebrow at the sight of a little swaying behaviour.
